Safety Discussion

AGR has an uncompromising focus on people, safety, the environment and the reputation of our customers.

We commit to being a safe and responsible manufacturer and global distributor of quality sodium cyanide products, and to the wellbeing of our employees and customers and the communities and environments in which we operate.

Our multiple management systems ensure safety is a core focus across all our operations, and we apply stringent controls and procedures to produce, store and despatch sodium cyanide and eliminate risk.

AGR is a founding signatory of the International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI), a voluntary industry body of companies that produce and handle sodium cyanide that promotes responsible management of sodium cyanide used in gold mining.

AGR’s production operation is fully accredited under the International Cyanide Management Code, which was developed under the direction of the United National Environment Program and is administered by the ICMI. Our accreditation can be found on the ICMI website under Production Signatories.

Since the inception of the ICMI, AGR has achieved accreditation for its supply chains in Australia and international transport routes, which can be found on the ICMI website under Transport Signatories
